Acorn
Locksmiths was started in 1983 by it’s
current owner Mr
Norm Axford.
The name Acorn Locksmiths was decided on because
of a number of factors Including the saying:
“From
little Acorns, big oak trees grow” |

So
far there has been a great deal of success with
this attitude. From starting in a garage at
home, we now employ 6 team members and have
3 service vehicles.
Starting as a sole trader we changed to a proprietary
limited company in 1995.
A commitment to training has meant that we have
employed more than 10 apprentices from time
to time.
Improvements and successes have been made possible
by only working for the best clients. This has
led to a number of movements in premises, finally
locating in our own premises at 57 Helen Street
Sefton in June 2000. |

Training
and experience
The
locksmithing course is conducted at Sydney Institute
of Technology. All of our team members have been technically
trained at this college. |
